Bayanihan Cup is an inter-club team competition open to all Filipino-American golf associations. The Bayanihan Cup Trophy, a perpetual one, is awarded to the inter-club team champion. 

“Bayanihan”, is a Filipino term taken from the word “bayan”, referring to a nation, country, town, or community. The whole term “Bayanihan” refers to a spirit of communal unity or effort to achieve a particular objective, thus the “Bayanihan” Cup. This gathering of Filipino-American golfers will achieve the following:

• A fund-raising event to provide financial assistance and relief efforts, primarily directed to our countrymen in the Philippines. This year, net proceeds of this event will benefit the Mango Tours Foundation

• Promote camaraderie, optimize interaction among Filipino-American golf organizations, and develop sports awareness, especially among our youth through the game of golf.

• Validate that the Filipino-American golfing community is a strong, well organized group, and a huge consumer and market of golf merchandise.
